“Helena Bonham Carter” has been granted indefinite leave from the sets of Terminator Salvation in Albuquerque, New Mexico, to fly back to Britain to comfort her distraught family.  Helena Bonham Carter has halted filming on the new Terminator movie to fly back to the UK after four members of her family were killed in a horrific car crash in South Africa.

Helena Bonham Carter’s relatives were on a safari holiday in the country on Wednesday when a minibus they were travelling in lost control and flipped over after a tyre burst. The Fight Club star’s cousin Fiona Bonham Carter, 51, escaped with a broken shoulder. But Fiona’s son Marcus Egerton-Warburton, 14, her mother Brenda, 74, and stepfather Francis Kirkwood, 75, all died.

As we know MTV have been running the show, Legally Blonde The Musical: The Search for Elle Woods. This is because Laura Bell Bundy left the musical on July 20 and they needed to find a new leading lady to play Elle Woods.

Bailey Hanks has been named the winner of the MTV reality casting competition, “Legally Blonde The Musical: The Search for Elle Woods.”

Well on Monday MTV found their new leading lady, “Bailey Hanks“. The 20-year old had never seen a Broadway show before she auditioned for the hit musical however; she did know all about Elle Woods, the always happy young blonde who proved to everyone that she had what it took to become a lawyer.

“Bailey Hanks” said that “I saw both Legally Blonde movies as soon as they came out,” says Hanks, 20. She played the original film on video “so often that our VCR ate it up. At that point, I had to buy the DVD.”

It seems that all those hours of watching the movies paid of for Hanks, as it seemed to show in her performances on the TV show.

Former Bosnian Serb leader Radovan Karadzic, accused of genocide by the war-crimes tribunal in The Hague, was arrested Monday, bringing an end to a nearly 13-year search for a man wanted for his part in the massacre of thousands of civilians.

Political leaders in Europe and the US have congratulated the Serbian government on managing to detain Radovan Karadzic after 13 years on the run.

Richard Holbrooke, the US diplomat who brokered the Dayton Peace Agreement for Bosnia in 1995, described his arrest as “a historic day”.

He said: “One of the worst men in the world, the Osama bin Laden of Europe, has finally been captured.

Serbian government sources said he had been under surveillance for several weeks after a tip from a foreign intelligence service.

“Radovan Karadzic was located and arrested,” the government said in a statement, which gave few details. It’s believed he was captured in Belgrade and is undergoing formal identification, including DNA testing.

Karadzic was arrested late on Monday night in Belgrade by the Serbian security services, the office of Serb president Boris Tadic said.

The 63-year-old former war leader is accused of orchestrating the worst acts of brutality Europe has seen since the Nazi campaigns of the Second World War.

Some 8,000 Bosnian Muslim men and boys were executed in and around the town of Srebrenica in 1995, while more than 10,000 others died during the Serb siege of Bosnian capital Sarajevo.
